Pool Tournament - Victoria House - Conferences and Summer Accommodation

At the beginning of the year the residents vote and elect representatives from each floor to be on the Residents Association executive committee. A member of the Victoria House staff and the Kay Dean Fellow are also on the committee. From this committee a chairperson, secretary, treasurer and their respective deputies are elected.

This committee is responsible for the expenditure of the funds on behalf of the residents. Each resident is a member of the Residents Association and as such is free to submit ideas and suggestions to the committee through their floor representative. Any major decision must be passed through the Association.

Where does my money go?

The executive committee must present a budget and calendar of events to the Association at the beginning of the year. These two items form the foundation for the committee to plan and run events.

What events are held at Victoria House?

The Residents Association are responsible for organising and running the annual Victoria House Ball, they assist with the annual mid-winter Christmas Dinner as well as various theme parties in the Hall.
